What's changing here and across the industry: new tools, checked catalogues, and what went wrong along the way — because that usually teaches more. Below, today's headlines from mold making, CAD, simulation and plastics publications.

Brazilian sources, which publish in Portuguese, are listed on the Portuguese version of this page.
Where this comes from
Each headline above is a title, a date and a link — the text stays on the site of whoever wrote it, and that's where the link takes you. The sources were checked one by one; only those that publish an open feed and cover the subject get in. Those left out are listed below, with the reason, so the absence doesn't look like an oversight.
No feed published
- Meusburger, Hasco, Cumsa, Ermanno Balzi. they publish news as plain HTML pages, with no RSS or Atom: no <link rel="alternate"> in the page code, and the usual paths return 404 or the home page.
- Cimatron, VISI, DME, Milacron, Yudo, Husky, Makino, GF Machining, DMG MORI, Hermle, Seco Tools, Iscar and SIGMA (Sigmasoft). none of them publishes a feed: their press pages are plain HTML with no alternate link, and the usual paths return 404 — when the server doesn't return 403 to robots outright. What can be followed from these brands arrives through ETMM, which covers exactly this world. Of that list, only Hexagon and Moldex3D publish feeds, and both are in.
- Bordignon. it has a feed at /feed/, but with a single item from March 2023 — publishing that as news would mislead the reader.
- Autodesk Moldflow and Simcon (Cadmould). no public feed. Autodesk dismantled its per-product blogs; Simcon never had one.
- MoldMaking Technology and Plastics Technology. the server returns 405 even for the home page — robot blocking, not a missing feed. They stay out while they respond that way.
- Plástico Moderno. the feed exists and is good, but the server returns 403 to any visitor that doesn't present itself as a browser — including an identified robot. Getting through would require this site to pretend to be Chrome, and it won't; it stays out until there's permission.
- Kenatec on X (Twitter). X's API no longer has a free tier, and scraping the site is against its terms. What Kenatec publishes goes in here as its own posts, written in the repository.
Have a feed, but didn't make it
- Sandvik Group. the feed is investor communications, not technical news: mining equipment in the Congo, quarterly reports, auditor selection. Cimatron belongs to Sandvik, but it doesn't show up there.
- MTDCNC. despite the name, the sample brought an air-conditioning plant, diesel engines and water pumps — broad industrial news, with one machine-tool story in eight.
- Engineering.com. generic engineering: circuit boards, quantum computing, humanoid robots. Nothing on molds.
- MM MaschinenMarkt. a lively, solid feed, but in German and about German industry in general. It's out for language and scope, not quality.
- Indústria Hoje. car detailing, tyre changes, amusement parks. It's search-engine content, not industry journalism.
- Google News by brand. Google's search RSS is open and works, but its precision is far too poor: searching for Meusburger and Hasco returned a city council, boat trips and tennis; searching for DMG MORI and Makino, shareholder reports and motor racing. Switching it on would fill the page with noise.
